I have been designing kilims and carpets for five or so years now and have a hand made production realised in India using New Zealand wool . I have created collections for Oritop GMBH (Austria) and Looms Rugs (Australia) and am a designer of carpets for the US firm Crate and Barrel. I also have various private and interior designer/ architect commissions.
After many years in design, I have found that carpets are the most fundamental decorating element. A carpet completes a room, can change a room completely and will always bring warmth and interest under foot ; or to whatever and whoever you place on it. I never tire of conceiving and realising them.
